The Penn State Berks Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Timothy Redding as the new head coach of the men’s basketball program, effective immediately. Redding is a graduate of Albright College, where he competed in football, basketball, and indoor/outdoor track and field. He set the school record with 2818 points in the pentathlon in 1998 and was named the Al Dittman Most Outstanding Male Track Athlete in 1999 and 2000. Additionally, Redding has earned advanced degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, M.S. and Lehigh University, M.Ed.
