In yet another trendsetting announcement aimed at activating new fans in SFA’s athletic venues, the SFA department of athletics has announced it will create, and manage, a new eSports league beginning in the fall of 2019 and ending in May of 2020. The new league will utilize the SFA Athletic Tokens to enter the events and to randomly select participants to compete on eight play dates throughout the academic year prior to selected home games. With prizes for the winners of each play date, winners will also be invited back to compete in a final Tournament of Champions to announce the inaugural SFA eSports League Champion. Read More.
