Owens Community College has hired John-David “J.D.” Ettore as its new athletic director. Ettore replaces Rudy Yovich, who departed Owens just prior to the 2014-15 school year to take the athletic director position at Defiance College. Ettore was recently employed at Fort Scott Community College in Kan., where he spent six years as the athletic director. Ettore received a bachelor of arts degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Md., and received his masters from Fort Hays State University in Kan.BCSN. Read More
