The Northwestern State women’s basketball program has added more championship-level experience to its staff with the hiring of assistant coach Lindsey Hicks. Hicks was an integral part of three Big Ten championships during her playing career at Purdue, which began as part of the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class. After a six-year professional playing career in Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland, Hicks spent the last two seasons as the video coordinator on Christy Curry’s staff at the University of Alabama.
