NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY

Brad Franz, head men’s basketball coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and a long-time higher education administrator, has been named as the new director of athletics at the school. Dr. Janet Cunningham, president of Northwestern, made the appointment today. Franz earned his degree from Northwestern in 1988 and later served as a graduate assistant coach. He was head coach at Otero Junior College in Colorado from 1991-96, compiling an 88-56 record and leading the school to its first-ever conference title. Read More.
