Alaina Benson has resigned as the assistant coach for the Northern State women’s basketball team to pursue other career opportunities. Benson was set to begin her third season as NSU’s assistant coach. Prior to coming to NSU, Benson was the head coach at Presentation College for four seasons. The women’s basketball program and NSU athletic department will begin the process of hiring the next Wolves assistant coach for the upcoming school year. – Aberdeen News.
