DeKALB, Ill. – Northern Illinois University women’s basketball coach Kathi Bennett has resigned, NIU Associate Vice-President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier announced Wednesday. Bennett compiled a record of 57-93 in five seasons at NIU. Frazier said a national search for a new head women’s basketball coach will begin immediately.
