NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY

The Northeastern men’s basketball team is pleased to announce the additions of Bobby Martin and Joel Smith to the coaching staff. In addition, assistant coach Chris Markwood has been promoted to associate head coach heading into the 2016-17 season. Markwood oversaw the development of David Walker into an All-CAA First Team member and helped Quincy Ford to CAA Second Team All-Conference honors. The duo also captured NABC All-District honors in Markwood’s second season at Northeastern, and went on to both play in the NBA Summer League, Ford with the Utah Jazz and Walker with the Miami Heat.
