Former North Platte Community College Knights basketball player Chase Grabau has been named the NPCC Knights assistant coach for the 2016 – 17 basketball season, replacing Ryan Glenney, who took an assistant coaching position at Dallas Baptist University. Grabau was born and raised in Boulder, Colo. He led Faith Christian High School to the Colorado 3A High School State Championship as a senior. Grabau played for the Knights from 2008 – 10. During Grabau’s sophomore season, the Knights were the Region IX champions and qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association Men’s Basketball tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., the first time in the college’s history.
