Notre Dame de Namur University has named assistant women’s basketball coach Sheila Adams as the interim head coach after Angela Kristensen resigned to take a position at Briar Cliff University. Adams, an assistant under Kristensen for the past three seasons will take over the head coaching duties for the Argonauts effective immediately.   Adams has been at NDNU for two years, serving as the program’s top assistant after beginning her coaching career at Dixie State University in 2012.
