Muhlenberg College named Lynn Tubman its new athletic director at a Thursday press conference, introducing her as the first woman to hold the position on a permanent basis at the school. Tubman spent the past nine years as the director of athletics and recreation at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She graduated from DeSales University, then Allentown College, in 1987 with a B.A. in business management. She was a three-time basketball all-American at DeSales and still holds the school’s career scoring record with 2,193 points. – Stephen Miller, Morning Call. Read More.
