Missouri Southern men’s basketball coach Jeff Boschee announced on Tuesday a pair of changes to his staff. Sam McMahon has been promoted to Boschee’s top assistant. Jamahl DePriest was hired to fill McMahon’s role from last season. McMahon finished his first year as an assistant with the Lions, helping MSSU finish 20-11 and advance to the MIAA Tournament championship. He previously served on the Missouri State staff for four years. DePriest joins the Lions after serving as an assistant at Langston (Oklahoma) University for one season. Before his season at Langston, DePriest served as an assistant coach at Coffeyville Community College for two seasons. – Joplin Globe, Read more.
