McNeese men’s basketball will receive $410,000 from its five road “guarantee games” prior to Southland Conference play, athletic director Bruce Hemphill said Tuesday. Beginning with their season opener at No. 15 Purdue on Friday, the Cowboys play five Football Bowl Subdivision schools before Christmas, each with a substantial payout.
