Marshall’s Director of Athletics Mike Hamrick announced the Brady Mangus has been promoted to the department’s Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance on Thursday. Mangus, a native of Charleston, has been with Marshall’s compliance office since August of 2014. He worked the 2014-15 school year as an intern before serving as a graduate assistant from August 2015 to March 2017. Since then, he has been the Thundering Herd’s Assistant Director of Compliance for Eligibility and Academics. “This is an opportunity that Brady has earned through his work ethic and dedication to Marshall Athletics,” said Jeff O’Malley, the Thundering Herd’s Associate Athletics Director and Chief of Staff. “I am very excited to have him in this position to help lead our compliance program.” Mangus served as a realtor in Charleston and Huntington from 2011-15 while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Sports Marketing and Management at Marshall.
