After a four-year stint with the Lincoln Memorial men’s basketball program, former Railsplitters’ assistant coach Cameron Whicker will transition to an administration role as the University’s Assistant Athletic Director. Whicker – a native of Huntersville, N.C. – has spent the past four years patrolling the sidelines as an assistant coach for the Lincoln Memorial men’s basketball team, where he played a vital role in the most successful stretch in program history. Since his arrival on campus as a graduate assistant before the 2011-12 season, the Railsplitters have compiled a 109-18 record, made four NCAA tournament appearances, and won three South Atlantic Conference regular season championships and one SAC tournament title.
