Women’s basketball is a slam dunk at Laramie County Community College. That’s what LCCC trustee Don Erickson told his colleagues at the Board of Trustees’ meeting Wednesday evening. The board is considering a proposal to reinstate a women’s basketball team at the college for the first time in 23 years. Scott Noble, the college’s athletics director, said the college hasn’t had a women’s basketball team since 1992, when the college dropped its entire athletic program when the economy experienced a downturn. – Kristine Galloway, Wyoming News.
