LAKELAND COLLEGE

April Arvan, who was named Lakeland College’s interim athletic director in December 2014, has agreed to a three-year appointment as Lakeland’s athletic director, President Dan Eck announced today. Arvan, who will continue to serve Lakeland as associate professor of sport management and leadership and senior woman administrator, was promoted to associate athletic director in 2013. A graduate of the college and member of the college’s Athletic Hall of Fame, Arvan served as Lakeland’s head women’s basketball coach from 1994-2007, and retired as one of the most successful coaches in the college’s history. – NCAA, Read More
