A new athletic director has been named at Kentucky State University. At a Thursday board meeting, KSU President M. Christopher Brown II announced the hiring of Trayvean D. Scott. Scott replaces William Graham, who recently retired after approximately 30 years at KSU during three different stints. Scott comes to KSU from Southern University at Baton Rouge, where he has served as executive athletic director since June 2017. Scott has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Business Marketing (Sales Concentration), a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations and a doctorate in education/sports management. – Holly McClurkin, State-Journal.
