Kent State University women’s basketball head coach Todd Starkey has agreed to a four-year contract extension that runs through 2023, Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen announced on Wednesday. Starkey has led the Golden Flashes to the Postseason WNIT twice during his three-year tenure and is already the program’s third-winningest coach all-time. “It’s very exciting news that Todd will continue to lead our women’s basketball program,” said Nielsen. This past season, Kent State reached the 20-win mark for the first time since 2010-11 and finished with the highest RPI ranking (81) in program history. Read More.
