Kean University Interim Director of Athletics Jack McKiernan has been appointed as the Chair of the NCAA Division III Football Committee as recently announced by the NCAA. McKiernan has been at Kean since 2000, spending the first five years as the Sports Information Director, before assuming the Associate Athletic Director role. He is currently tabbed as the Interim Athletics Director after the departure of Chris Morgan in July. McKiernan previously served as a four-year member of the NCAA Division III National Baseball Committee, serving the last two as the national chair. McKiernan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and sports studies from Rutgers University in 1998 and a Master of Arts in administration and supervision from Montclair State University in 2000.
