McHenry County College
- June 26th, 2014—After almost 25 years as McHenry County College Director of Athletics, Wally Reynolds has opted to take early retirement. Reynolds got his start in athletic administration in 1980 at Harper College, where he worked in numerous athletic support roles in addition to coaching the baseball team. “The bottom line is I wasn’t going to leave this year, but I was forced into it by the pending legislation to reduce retirement benefits,” Reynolds said.

- July 28th, 2014— Sources told College AD last night that Rudy Yovich has been selected as the new AD at Defiance College. Yovich will be announced at a press conference at the college this morning. He is currently the Athletics Director at Owens Community College, having held the position since October of 2011. Prior to his new position at Owens, Yovich served as the Assistant Athletic Director/Media Services for Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne since 2003.
Sierra College
- February 19th, 2014—Application review begins today.
- March 31st, 2014—Sources tell College AD that Sierra College will interview multiple candidates next week, particularly between April 9th-11th. More to come as we can confirm.
- March 17th, 2014—Sources tell College AD, Sierra College will have their AD interviews on April 9-11, with April 9-10 being preliminary interviews, and April 11th being the final interviews. We hear former Shorline CC athletic Director Doug Palmer will interview.
