A Wright State University sports official is up for the top job at another school. Roderick Perry, deputy director of athletics at Wright State, is one of three finalists for the director of athletics position at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Also known as IUPUI, the school announced Tuesday that Perry and other candidates for the job will meet with campus groups this week. Perry oversees a $10 million budget at Wright State and was instrumental in signing the first department-wide apparel contract with Impact Sports to wear the Nike brand exclusively, according to the school.
