The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Athletics Department has announced that longtime athletics administrator Alfreeda Goff will serve as the department’s interim Director of Athletics, effective immediately. One of the most highly respected women in intercollegiate athletics, Goff served the Horizon League as its director of championships, Senior Woman Administrator and league governance liaison. Goff holds a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Slippery Rock State College and a master’s degree in health and physical education from Pennsylvania State University. Goff will lead the department until a permanent director of athletics is hired. IUPUI has partnered with CarrSports Consulting LLC to lead the national search process.
