Angie Lansing, currently assistant athletics director for business operations and senior woman administrator, has been named interim director of intercollegiate athletics at Indiana State University effective January 4, President Daniel J. Bradley announced today. “I am pleased that Angie has accepted my request to serve as the interim director. I am confident in her ability to provide leadership for this important part of the university as we launch a national search for Ron Prettyman’s replacement,” Bradley said. Lansing is in her 10th season on staff for the Indiana State University Athletics Department, serving as Assistant Athletic Director for Business as well as Senior Woman Administrator. The university has engaged Parker Executive Search to assist with the search process, Bradley indicated. Daniel Parker, vice president and managing director of the sports division of the firm and an associate, Jaleesa Rhoden, will work with the search committee to help build a pool of qualified candidates. The committee will be chaired by Diann McKee, Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration. The firm’s representatives will be on campus on January 8to meet with the search committee.
