Sherard Clinkscales doesn’t officially take over Indiana State’s Director of Athletics duties until May 2, but even though Clinkscales’ big day is still 20 days away, he’s been busy preparing himself to make an immediate splash. Clinkscales wants to make it clear he’s excited about the potential of ISU athletics. Clinkscales is making a quick campus visit as he rounds out his affairs at North Carolina State, where he is associate athletic director, before he begins at ISU in May. The Indianapolis native began a three-day trip on campus yesterday. He’s been in-touch with Interim Director of Athletics Angie Lansing on nearly a daily basis since he was hired on Feb. 29. “There’s some things within our organization that I’m looking at making some adjustments in to make us more efficient.
