Hillsdale College Athletic Director Don Brubacher announced today that head women’s basketball coach Claudette Charney will retire on April 30 after 13 seasons. Charney was named the Chargers’ head coach prior to the 2002-03 season, and in that time, guided the program to new heights of success. She coached the team to three GLIAC South Division titles, three appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament, and the 2009 GLIAC Tournament title.
