Georgia Tech’s former standout point guard Metra Walthour has been named the assistant director of women’s basketball operations, head coach MaChelle Joseph announced. Walthour finished her Georgia Tech career in 2012 after helping the Jackets to four 20-win seasons and four NCAA Tournament appearances, including Georgia Tech’s first Sweet 16 trip in 2012. The Hinesville, Ga., native finished her illustrious career as part of the winningest class in Tech history as she was a part of 95 Yellow Jacket victories.
