It was announced today by the George Washington University that Patrick Nero has signed a contract extension to remain at GW as Director of Athletics and Recreation through the 2020-21 academic year. Nero has seen the GW Colonials achieve unprecedented success across GW’s 27 intercollegiate athletic programs during his tenure, with nine teams winning championships in their respective sports and eight total conference Coaches of the Year honors over the last four years.
