Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) Athletics Director Milton Overton Jr. today announced the appointment of long-time FAMU administrator Marvin E. Green Jr. as the new associate athletics director for Sports Administration. His appointment is effective Dec. 4. Prior to his appointment, Green, a FAMU alumnus, served FAMU for nearly 23 years as director of Student Activities, associate director of Campus Recreation, and has played a leading role in the development and success of the University’s nationally recognized intramural and recreational sports programs. He will continue to serve as coach of FAMU’s award-winning men’s golf program, which has consistently finished in the top five at the National Minority Golf Championships. Read More
