FSU sent boosters a letter asking them to donate funds to complete the Seminoles’ coaching search and spark a football renaissance. FSU president John Thrasher wrote the letter asking Seminoles Boosters for financial support. “Today, if you are able, I ask that you increase your annual booster commitment, please consider a one-time 20 percent increase and encourage your family and friends to join Seminole Boosters today,” the letter dated Nov. 20 read. “I truly believe every Seminole can make a difference in this effort.” Thrasher stated he joined FSU athletics director David Coburn in taking “decisive action to help restore our status as a national contender. The letter urges donors to “please join your fellow Seminoles as we embark on the Renaissance of FSU football to restore its rightful place in college football.” -Iliana Limón Romero, Orlando Sentinel, Read More
