Houses were not the only thing damaged by Friday’s storms. Athletic facilities were not safe from high winds either. Friday’s storm damage extended to Florida State University. The batter’s eye screen is not really standing up the way it’s supposed to. The batter’s eye screen sits behind the center field wall at Dick Howser Stadium home of the Florida State baseball team. It was actually originally damaged last weekend. Remember, last Sunday morning, we had storms roll through. It did topple over a little bit then.
