The contract for Florida State’s 2019 season opener against Boise State in Jacksonville, Fla. were released on Wednesday with the formal announcement of the neutral site game between the two teams. Florida State University President, John Thrasher along with Mayor Lenny Curry and the JAXSPORTS Council announced today that the 2019 FSU vs Boise State game will be played in Jacksonville at TIAA Bank Field on Labor Day Weekend 2019 and will be nationally televised. The 2019 game will be FSU’s first-ever against Boise State. The Seminoles will play the second game of the two-game series in Boise, ID during the 2020 season. The JAXSPORTS Council is focused on bringing together a diverse set of sports groups, and is constantly working to capitalize on big opportunities – events that put Jacksonville on the map.
