Right around the corner from basketball season, the Faulkner State Sun Chiefs are gearing up for another season. On Monday evening, the community college in Bay Minette held a media day to introduce players. The men’s team is fresh off an Alabama Community College Conference championship in the South Division – the first time since 1991. “The very first day, I said: ‘if you knew how much fun it was going to the national tournament, then you would probably shut people out and they would’t even score,’” said head men’s basketball coach and athletic director Jack Robertson.
