On Wednesday, the FAU athletic department announced numerous enhancements to both the game-day operations and parking and traffic. The changes come after the largest home crowd in FAU Stadium history (30,811 fans) was overshadowed by long lines, security breaches, a lack of concessions and other issues — including broken water fountains — against UCF. The gameday enhancements, which FAU revealed in a news release include water coolers available inside and outside of the stadium with complimentary water, concession stand improvements to increase efficiency and prevent long lines, additional Paradise Pricing concession stands on the first floor, water and Powerade available at all portable beer stands, and enhanced security presence at gates and near the visiting sideline. FAU also announced two notable parking and traffic flow changes, which will go into effect for Saturday’s game against Wagner. – Jake Elman, The Palm Beach Post, Read More
