After working with Academy of Art University athletics for the past nearly nine years with the three most recent as Director of Athletics, Colin Preston has officially resigned his position to become the Director of Athletics and Kinesiology at El Camino College in Torrance, California. First hired in 2007 as the second employee of athletics hired by the program’s first Director of Athletics Dr. Jamie Williams, Preston began by assisting in the pursuit of NCAA membership application while laying the foundations with hiring coaches, staff, and obtaining athletic facilities.
