Eastern Gateway Community College named John Zizzo as the first athletic director in the school’s history. This is Zizzo’s first time overseeing an entire athletic department Zizzo previously worked as a baseball coach, teacher and scout in the private sector as well as at the collegiate and professional levels. In that time he was the head baseball coach at Youngstown State University from 1988-1991 and set the record for most wins in a single season at YSU in 1991. After YSU he spent time in the minor leagues affiliated with the Colorado Rockies where he served as a hitting coach and regional scout. – wtov9.com– Read More
