Columbia College Athletic Director Bob Burchard has been named the 2014-15 American Midwest Conference Athletic Director of the Year. Since his arrival at Columbia College in 1988, Burchard has been awarded AD of the Year seven different times as he has helped mold not only the Cougars’ men’s basketball programs, but its overall athletic department, into one of the top units in the NAIA. As a coach, he ranks among NAIA leaders with 690 victories entering the 2015-16 season. During his career at Columbia, Burchard has guided the Cougars to 19 NAIA Tournament appearances and 14 conference regular-season and/or tournament titles.
