Athletics at Colorado State University had a $3.2 million deficit for fiscal year 2015 and are projected to have a $2.9 million deficit for 2016, campus president Tony Frank told the CSU System Board of Governors on Friday. Frank cautioned against looking too far ahead with too much certainty in making budget projections, but he also presented projections in which the program faces deficits of $2.6 million in 2017, $1.8 million in 2018 and $667,000 in 2019.
