Kristyn King has been named interim athletic director at The College of Wooster, effective August 1. She will serve during the coming academic year while the college conducts a nationwide search for a successor to Keith Beckett, who will take a sabbatical during the 2019-20 academic year prior to retiring. King served as director of athletics and recreation at Rockford University in Rockford, Ill., from 2001 to 2005, and again from 2011 to 2016, as well as interim director from 2008 to 2011. “I’m delighted that Kristyn King will be taking up this important interim leadership role,” said President Sarah Bolton. “Her deep commitment to the values of Div. III athletics, as well as her experience, perspective, and dedication to equity will be very valuable to the department during this transition.” Read More.
