COLLEGE OF THE HOLY CROSS

The College of the Holy Cross has named Dave Metzendorf its new director of men’s basketball operations, as announced by head coach Bill Carmody. Metzendorf’s primary responsibilities will include serving as the team’s travel and video coordinator, in addition to assisting with recruiting efforts, summer camps and day-to-day office duties. Metzendorf comes to Holy Cross after spending the previous three years on the staff at Cornell University. He served as an assistant coach for the Big Red for the last two seasons and was instrumental in the school’s recruiting efforts, after spending the 2013-2014 campaign as a special assistant to the head coach. Metzendorf earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Ithaca College in 2013, and his master’s degree in education from Virginia Commonwealth in 2015. Read More.
