It’s been exactly one year since college football’s key stakeholders first met to discuss the possibility of College Football Playoff expansion. What’s changed? Well … “Nothing,” said Mississippi State president Mark Keenum, the chairman of the CFP’s Board of Managers, on Monday. “Last year, we made a commitment as a board to continue to have dialogue and discussion about possibilities for expansion. That’s our position today.” “We have time,” Keenum said. “We have six years left on our current contract (with ESPN). We have time to be forthright and diligent in how (we make changes) and if we want to make changes. And, do we want to make changes?
