The desire to reignite Texas’ most iconic football rivalry goes all the way to the top. University of Texas president Gregory L. Fenves and Texas A&M president Michael K. Young both agreed they would like to see their schools meet again on the football field. With both schools’ presidents on board, it is in the hands of UT athletic director Chris Del Conte and his counterpart at A&M, Scott Woodward, to put together the plan that will bring the schools back together on the gridiron. The prospective plan, if it is constructed, will likely be convoluted.
