Colgate tennis head coach Bobby Pennington has signed a five-year contract extension, Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Nicki W. Moore announced Tuesday. Pennington just completed his 13th season as the combined head coach of both the Colgate men’s and women’s teams. Pennington this past season coached his 500th combined match. “Coach Pennington has developed a solid foundation for the men’s and women’s tennis programs at Colgate, and I am excited about his aspirations for the future,” Moore said. “Bobby and Jenny are strong community members – both within our department and in the Village of Hamilton – and Mia, Clifford and Parker are regular fans at many of our athletics events. The Raiders under Pennington have posted eight winning seasons on the men’s side with an overall record of 132-124.
