Tickets and parking for the Cleveland State men’s basketball team’s home opener on Saturday are free, and there will be $1 hot dogs and $2 draft beers. The Vikings are smartly looking at Saturday’s game against Division II Edinboro University, a matchup that is being dubbed Fan Appreciation Day, as a way to get more people interested in a program that won only 40 games in the previous four seasons. “It’s more of a long-term play,” AD Scott Garrett said of the free tickets to the home opener. “It’s Coach (Dennis) Gates’ first countable home game.
