After three seasons on the Missouri State sideline MSU assistant men’s basketball coach Jermaine Henderson has accepted an assistant basketball coaching job at Cleveland State University. Henderson came to the Springfield campus on April 20, 2012, after 19 years as a player and assistant coach at Miami (Ohio) University where he was associate head coach for his last seven years there. The former high school All-American at Columbus East High was part of 300 wins at Miami and was instrumental in the Bears’ nationally-ranked turnaround in his second season in 2013-14 that culminated in a 20-win campaign at MSU and postseason CIT tournament bid. – West Plains Daily Quill.
