Cardinal Stritch University Wolves head men’s basketball coach Mike Jaskulski has announced the hiring of assistant coach Dan Torres to his coaching staff.  Torres comes from multiple years of NCAA Division I men’s basketball experience. From 2011 to 2013 he was a coaching assistant for the University of Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball program under head coach Bo Ryan. In the 2011-2012 season, Torres aided the Badgers to a 27-10 record and an appearance in the sweet sixteen. Torres has had the opportunity to work with multiple NBA players. His former roommate at Florida State is current NBA rookie Malik Beasley, who was the 19th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft to the Denver Nuggets. Other NBA players that Torres has worked with include Frank Kaminsky (Charlotte Hornets), Sam Dekker (Houston Rockets), and Toney Douglas (Cleveland Cavaliers). HoopDirt. Read More.
