Stan Heath will be reunited with Jim Christian, one of his former basketball assistants at Kent State from 2001-02, but this time the roles will be reversed as Heath will be joining Christian’s staff at Boston College as an assistant, Christian confirmed Monday night. Heath, 50, whose departure from Kent State for the University of Arkansas paved the way for Christian to become head coach at Kent State in 2002, will join Scott Spinelli and Billy Wuczynski on BC’s staff, filling a void left by the surprise departure last month of former assistant Preston Murphy to become an assistant at Creighton. – Michael Vega, Boston Globe.
