Harrold native Jordan Bauer is leaving the coaching sideline and moving to the administrave side of sports. Bauer, who has been an assistant coach for the Black Hills State womens basketball team for the last 10 years has been hired by the Spearfish School Board as the Athletic Director for Spearfish High School. Bauer will replace Karen Hahn who retired from the position this year. The 30 year old Bauer, who is the son of the late Dennis Bauer, who coached Harrold High School to the 1992 State Class B boys basketball championship, is the half brother of Spearfish High School Girls head basketball coach Eric Lappe.
