Birmingham-Southern College announced Thursday that Kyndall Waters has been named as the school’s next athletic director. Waters will take over as athletics director on June 1, 2016, when current A.D. Joe Dean, Jr., begins his new role as senior vice president for advancement at BSC. “We are very pleased that Kyndall Waters will become our new athletics director,” Birmingham-Southern president Dr. Edward Leonard said. “Kyndall was an outstanding volleyball student-athlete here at BSC, and has worked in every facet of the athletics program for the past ten years.
