Recently appointed Big Sky Conference commissioner Tom Wistrcill is less than a week into his new job, and his agenda for the league has yet to take shape beyond generalities and plain observations. “I’ve spent a lot of years in college athletics, a lot of years in Division I, but I’ve not been in the Big Sky Conference before, so that’s all new for me,” Wistrcill said Wednesday during a telephone interview from his headquarters in Ogden, Utah, with  Wistrcill does have a valid grasp of current matters encircling the league, be it the perceived bloated size of its football membership to its foray into a neutral-site basketball tournament for both men and women to questions of exposure and visibility. Wistrcill was named Big Sky commissioner on Nov. 16.
