Recently appointed Big Sky Conference commissioner Tom Wistrcill is less than a week into his new job, and his agenda for the league has yet to take shape beyond generalities and plain observations. “I’ve spent a lot of years in college athletics, a lot of years in Division I, but I’ve not been in the Big Sky Conference before, so that’s all new for me,” Wistrcill said Wednesday during a telephone interview from his headquarters in Ogden, Utah, with 406mtsports.com.  Wistrcill does have a valid grasp of current matters encircling the league, be it the perceived bloated size of its football membership to its foray into a neutral-site basketball tournament for both men and women to questions of exposure and visibility. Wistrcill was named Big Sky commissioner on Nov. 16. He replaces Andrea Williams, who is now the chief operating officer of the College Football Playoff.  – GREG RACHAC, billingsgazette – Read More
